Probably the most important question so I thought I’d answer it first…

How do I cancel my subscription? – Unlike other subscription services – TV / broadband / mobile phone / etc. – I have made it very simple to cancel your subscription at any time. Simply go to the ‘Manage Listing’ page and in the bottom right-hand corner of your listing you will see the ‘Delete’ button. Press that and click ‘OK’ and you are done. Your listing will disappear and your subscription will be cancelled almost immediately. I cannot stand sites that make it hard to leave so I will do it to others.

Registering

Why do I need to register? – An online market place like Your Away Days has to hold a certain amount of information just like an Amazon or EBAY would.

Why do I need to register in advance? – Registration is FREE and we do this to help keep traders out.

Private Sellers

Will my details be published on the Your Away Days website? – We will NOT publish your full Name, Email address, Home address or Telephone number on the site. However, we will publish whatever name you use on the Sell page in the ‘Name’ field. We recommend that you use your first only.

How will a potential Buyer contact me? – When a Buyer selects your caravan or camper van for more details there is a ‘Contact Seller’ button available. Once clicked they will be able to send you an email so keep a eye on that spam folder.

When should I give out my phone number to a potential Buyer? – Only when you feel comfortable doing so.

When should I give out my address to a potential Buyer? – Only when you believe that the potential Buyer is genuine.

What should I do if I no longer want to communicate with a potential Buyer? – Politely ask them to stop contacting you but if this does not work then contact us at Your Away Days.

What should I do if I sell my caravan / camper van? – First of all, congratulations! Simply delete your advert and we will cancel your subscription.

What should I do if I want to stop advertising with Your Away Days? – Simple delete your advert and that will inform Your Away Days to cancel your subscription.

Private Buyers

Do I have to pay anything to Your Away Days? – Absolutely nothing.

How do I contact a Seller? – When you click on an advert for more information you will see a ‘Contact Seller’ button, click that and the rest is simple.

Can I contact more than one Seller? – You can contact as many Sellers as you like.

What do I do if I no longer want to communicate with a Seller? – Politely let them know but if they do persist please contact us at Your Away Days.

Subscription

How much is the subscription? – Up until JANUARY 1st 2026 it is entirely FREE except for a £1.00 trail fee. After that it is just £10.00 per month which is less than 33 pence per day.

When will I be charged? – A £1.00 trial fee to help set up your subscription but then NOTHING until JANUARY 1st 2026. After that you will be charged on same date each month or there abouts. So if your first full subscription charge payment was on the 17th of the month then it will be on the 17th of every month.

Will I receive a reminder to pay? – You will receive a reminder that a payment is due approximately 7 days before we take it automatically. You do have to do anything.

Do Your Away Days charge a commission fee when I sell my caravan / camper van? – No, Your Away Days is a subscription based market place to advertise your caravan / camper van – YOU keep all of the sale price.

If I delete my advert part way through a subscription payment will I receive a partial refund? – Unfortunately not as we would have to charge an administration fee to do this which would be higher than the original cost of the advert.
