The depreciation calculators below are very simple to use and will generate 4 prices – Excellent, Above Average, Average and Below Average condition.

Static & Touring Caravans.

Static Caravans – You may well see an identical static caravan to yours on a holiday park that is selling at a higher price than the calculator suggests. This is because holiday parks will also build in ‘free’ site fees or other ‘free’ incentives to seal the deal. What is important is that you know the full and fair price for your static caravan versus the ‘Price You Paid’ for it.

One more thing – decking also depreciates at 15% per year so if that is part of the sale you are covered if you include it in the ‘Price You Paid’ figure.

At the end of the day the selling price is entirely up to you and the RETAIL Value Calculator is simply a guide to get you started but remember, the prices displayed will be far higher than any trader offer.

Camper Vans.

When it comes to valuing a camper van it is a little bit more complex as they have far more variables to consider.
